The majority of individuals using the internet today already meet the system requirements necessary to use WowWe.

WowWe will work with your current email; you do not need to make any changes. However, many of our customers have several email addresses, you will need to select one and identify it as your primary email in your WowWe Virtual Office. Once you have made that selection all video emails will appear as coming from your primary email account.

Yes, with a few clicks, your contacts can easily be integrated.

Absolutely! You can record live from your webcam or any other video source that your computer recognizes. You can also upload previously recorded video files from your computer’s hard drive.

We recommend the Logitech QuickCam Pro, in both its PC and Mac versions. The average internet price is approx $99, however Best Buy sells it for $89. In the near future WowWe will be selling the QuickCam at a considerable discount.

Quality of online video over the Internet is controlled primarily by two factors, bandwidth and camera quality. WowWe recommends the Logitech QuickCam Pro series based on the reviews it has received and our own internal testing.

While not a required purchase, we believe that members will get the best experience using these cameras. Additionally, customer support will be familiar with these cameras and will be able to support them.

Internet Video is a technology that really demands a broadband connection for full-motion video and audio streaming; however, there are not any software limitations with using a dial-up connection. When using a dial-up connection to send, the user will notice a longer upload time and the video quality will probably be reduced. The playback system will automatically stream your videos at the maximum speed that the recipient’s Internet connection can support. The messages can be viewed by recipients on either high-speed or dial-up connections, although the playback quality for recipients with dial-up access will also probably be lowered.

WowWe system design allows for simple and straight-forward expansion as demand on the system increases. Our capacity, as of this writing, is approximately 80,000 simultaneous playbacks. Assuming most video emails last 1-3 minutes, and an even distribution of video emails being viewed throughout the daytime hours in the US, we can currently support approximately 19.2 million video email viewings per day. As our system load approaches this we will expand the system to accommodate even higher capacity loads.

Both the creation and viewing of Video Emails is based on Adobe Flash. The Operating System used by Mac & PC, as well as other system that supports Flash, can be used to both create and view Video Email.

No, a hyperlink is sent to the recipient via email. Simply click on the hyperlink and the video message plays automatically. It is assumed that Flash is ubiquitous throughout all Internet connected computers and that Flash is considered standard, rather than “special”, software on all connected machines.

Currently WowWe supports: AVI, WMV, MOV and MPG/MPEG. (Additional types may be added in the future)

All file types are automatically converted and maintained in Flash (FLV) on our servers.

The Internet is neither owned nor controlled by any one entity; therefore, WowWe can not guarantee that any given reader shall be able to access the Companies server at any given time. Wow We represents that it shall make every good faith effort to ensure the highest possible delivery rate.

Because ISPs are always adding more SPAM trigger words, there can never be a comprehensive list, but the list below shows some phrases / words you should definitely avoid to ensure a higher delivery rate.
